Google’s Whisk
New Image generating platform from Google
The Whisk platform allows you to guide the creative process by supplying images rather than lengthy text instructions. Drag in one image for the subject, another for the setting, and a third to define the overall style. Then, blend them all to produce an entirely new visual concept — anything from a whimsical digital figure to a collectible enamel pin or sticker.
Under the Hood
Under the hood, the Gemini system takes each chosen image and constructs a rich textual description. These descriptions are then passed along to Imagen 3, Google’s state-of-the-art image generator. Rather than producing a direct imitation, this method distills and interprets the image’s core attributes, making it easy to experiment and combine subjects, settings, and styles in original and inventive ways.
Starting Simple: Making Stickers, Plushies and Pins
Before I get to the image mixing, this platform allows you to create stickers, plushies and pins.
I used an image of an old-style telephone from a previous article to make a plushie.
