I don’t like censorship. Unfortunately, most mainstream Text-To-Art AIs are cobbled with a list of banned words that will short-circuit the AI from generating an image. The prompt how-to instructions on these AI platforms tell the user to keep their text prompts PG-13. The AI also checks its art output for any NSFW content, and it if determines that the generated art may show some forbidden human appendage, the entire image is blurred. Sorry, no refund.

The censored AI will sometimes identify innocuous text prompts as too naughty to render to an image. For example, try entering the text prompt, “Hot Blonde Babe,” in your favorite AI, and see if you are given the “Too Naughty” notice. DALL-E and NightCafe’ are still blocking this prompt, but recently Midjourney is allowing the AI to generate an image.

Sometimes a text prompt will generate NSFW content by accident, like the prompt “kinky party,” which has been known to do just that, it kinda makes you wonder about that AI programming.

Pros and Cons

The Cons

The biggest cons are deep fakes. The resolution of generated AI images is so realistic that you can not be sure if an image was computer generated. So a politician…
